DESCRIPTION

AQUAPOXYUW Underwater is an incredibly tough solvent free epoxy resin mortar for permanent repairs to worn or damaged concrete structures that are exposed to heavy battering from sea such as sea walls and concrete jetties Ideal for repairing concrete that is permanently wet or permanently underwater This twopart material is mixed equal parts by volume or weight Resin and Hardener thus minimizing wastage

Uses For the permanent repair to spalled or damaged concrete in exceptionally wet conditions and for underwater applications Concrete sea walls jetties and all exposed concrete that are frequently wet or difficult to dry

Dry Preparation Surfaces must be free from grease oil and other forms of contamination Hammer and bolster the concrete clean Wire brushing is advisable Remove all loose weak concrete and brush clean For large areas grit blasting or needle gun preparation is ideal

Under Water Preparation Surfaces must be mechanically cleaned free from weak friable and loose material marine growth rust scale etc

Mixing Either take equal parts from each plastic bucket labelled Pack A Resin and Pack B Hardener and mix together By Hand wearing vinyl gloves that are wet Twist and fold both packs together until the putty like material is uniform in color By Drill and Paddle Mix part A B together for 3 minutes

Application Mixed AQUAPOXYUW Underwater must be carried in closed buckets or plastic bags to the work area to avoid contact with water until the point of application Press in small quantities approximately 5mm thick and ensure all the water is expelled from between the surface and the AQUAPOXYUW Underwater Protect the uncured repair from displacement by heavy moving water until hardened When applying in dry conditions occasionally clean the trowel with water to release any buildup of resin tack Do not cover expansion joints but allow any joints to follow through the AQUAPOXYUW

Cleaning off Excess Remove all uncured AQUAPOXYUW Underwater with water or detergent solution Cured hardened material can only be removed by grinding Health and Safety Always read the separate Health Safety Data Sheet prior to handling this product
